The European Regulation 1005/2009 provides that all dangerous gaseous substances (flammable gases, inert gases, toxic gases, corrosive gases, refrigerant gases, etc..), at the end of their operational life, are considered as special dangerous waste and are therefore compulsorily delivered to authorized collection centres.
Only companies authorized by the Ministry of the Environment and registered in the National Register of Environmental Managers can carry out the collection, recycling and disposal of gases.

How to withdraw cylinders
The cylinder withdrawal intervention must be requested with 8 working day- notice.
For urgent requests, the request must be made within 48 hours prior to the date service.
The service will be carried out in full compliance with current regulations on the environment and safety at work.
Ecodep provides authorizations for the transport of hazardous waste and the authorization by the Sicily Region for the storage of hazardous waste.
Transport of special gases equivalent to dangerous goods
The transport of the cylinders is carried out with means authorized by the National Register of Environmental Managers and set up according to the ADR regulations; Ecodep personnel have professional certificate for the transport of dangerous goods and written instructions for dealing with accidents or emergencies.
The gas cylinder collection service includes:
