In 1997 the new investments led Ecodep to activate the phases of the waste disposal cycle sorting separation, recovery, recycling, treatment and disposal.

In 2001, Ecodep built a new operating site in the municipality of Modica, in the Province of Ragusa, in the industrial area of Modica-Pozzallo, where it still carries out its activity in the special waste disposal sector.

To respond to the new recycling and reintroduction needs of metal and plastic waste into the production cycle a new plant was implemented with two lines dedicated to the treatment of meta packaging and plastic packing that contained dangerous substances.
